The
house was inspected in 2006 by a licensed home inspector Number 1030.
Mr. Tom Hatcher. His findings at that time: One window sill needed
repair. (It should be noted that that repair has been made.) Radon
levels were made by Mr. Hatcher. One yielded a reading of 2.0 ppm and
the second was 2.1 ppm, which were well below the government minimum of
4.0 ppm. We were relieved to hear this report, but as we had planned to
renew the kitchen, we chose to install a mitigation system while the
walls were at the bare bones minimum. The cost was minimal and resulted
in interior radon readings that were equal to the outside reading of .8
ppm.
